Your farm & money
1. Plant a cash crop on day one
Just like in Stardew Valley, seeds are your first reliable income. Buy and plant what you can water right away.
2. Only plant what you can water
Watering eats your morning energy early on. Don’t overplant before you’ve upgraded your watering can.
3. Eat to restore energy
Foraged items and cheap food top up your energy so you can do more each day. Keep a snack on hand.
The ocean & diving
4. Dive to clean the ocean
Clearing trash and reviving the reef is Coral Island’s signature feature — it rewards you and unlocks progress. Make diving part of your routine.
5. Don’t sell everything you find
Diving and digging turn up artifacts and items you’ll want for the museum and offerings. Hold onto one of each.
The town & temple
6. Talk to everyone
A quick chat raises friendship a little. Do a lap of town when you have a spare moment.
7. Give gifts (and learn birthdays)
Loved gifts on birthdays give the biggest friendship boost. Note a few villagers you want to befriend.
8. Make temple offerings
Offering items at the temple pleases the Giants and grants helpful blessings and progression rewards.
Tools & exploration
9. Upgrade your tools at the blacksmith
Bring ore and bars to upgrade your watering can and pickaxe first — they save the most time and effort.
10. Mine for ore and gems
The mines provide the metals you need for upgrades, plus gems to sell or gift. Push deeper on high-energy days.
11. Donate to the museum
Museum donations track your progress and sometimes unlock rewards — another reason to keep one of everything.
12. Relax — there’s no rush
Coral Island has no real fail state. If you spend a day just diving or foraging because it’s peaceful, that’s time well spent.
