Every Sunday morning, Daisy Mae sells turnips. Buy them, then sell them to Timmy & Tommy later in the week when the price spikes.

• Prices change twice a day, so check morning and afternoon.
• Sell before the next Sunday — turnips spoil!
• Visiting friends’ islands (or having them visit yours) lets you sell at the best price anyone has that week.

It’s the single fastest way to big Bells — but it’s a gamble, so don’t spend money you can’t afford to lose.

Hit the money rock

Each day, one rock on your island drops Bells when hit. Dig holes behind you first so you don’t get knocked back, then hit it fast for up to 8 payouts.

Sell fruit (especially non-native)

Your island’s fruit sells for a little; fruit from other islands sells for much more. Plant a few of each type for a steady orchard income.

Catch fish & bugs

High-value catches (sharks, beetles, etc.) sell for thousands. Selling to Flick (bugs) or C.J. (fish) when they visit gives a bonus over the shop price.

Smart habits

• Pay off your loan, then keep earning — décor and bridges add up.
• Check the Nook Stop for daily Nook Miles tasks; redeem Miles for tickets and items.
• Shake trees (some drop Bells or furniture) and dig up fossils to sell or donate.
• Hot item of the day: Nook’s Cranny pays double for one DIY item daily — craft a stack and sell.

A note on time-travel

Some players change their console clock to speed things up. It works, but it can mess with turnips, villagers, and events — use it knowingly, or avoid it for the “intended” cozy pace.
